Canada: Denying abortion = violence.

Canadian politics keeps rolling downhill: ... story.html

This is all you need to read from the article:

OTTAWA - Status of Women Minister Maryam Monsef says denying access to the full range of reproductive services — including abortion — is a form of violence against women.

"Reproductive health rights in Canada and around the world are critical to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls," Monsef said Thursday in an interview with The Canadian Press.

"We're committed to making sure that women and girls have that choice, because otherwise, this is a form of gender-based violence."

It gets even more absurd when we consider that "Status of Women Minister Maryam Monsef" obtained her citizenship using false information, even admitted to it, and still she's in political office.

Monsef has been criticized for stating that she was born in Afghanistan, when in fact she was born in Iran.[29] When this was revealed in September 2016,[7] some commentators pointed out that this could lead to revocation of her Canadian citizenship and potential deportation,[30] while others have criticized the absurdity of the present law[31] or decried the importation of birtherism into Canadian politics.[32]

So a foreign born woman who obtained citizenship using false information is telling Canadians that objecting to abortion is violence against women. Even "pressure" (verbally disagreeing) is apparently an act of violence. You either have to be fully on board and supportive or you're a violent monster.

Canada is fucked.

- Politically rule of law doesn't apply to certain privileged parties, but the full force of the law is in effect when it comes to white heterosexual males.

- Economically the CA dollar is devaluing and the country is taking on more debt.

- High immigration levels despite the fact housing, jobs and opportunities are in short supply.

- The government and academia are run by Leftists.

The more I observe this shit, the more I'm convinced these things are a concerted effort to sow discord, hatred and instability.

It's all about reducing the population and imposing a police state.

When things are utterly fucked, the prols will look for their saviour; the government will enforce martial law and the will of the elite be unleashed upon us, as per the precendents of history.

Abortion is a reproductive service?

I didn't realise they were freely admitting abortion was a form of birth control now.

"denying abortion akin to violence"

Brain and mouth are not even remotely connected. Pretty sure I know 6 year old that can see the hypocrisy in that.

This is how the entitlement mentality works.

If it's a good or service they want and others are not willing to provide it for them, then it's violence against them.

It's intense hyperbole and should just be ignored.

It is indeed intense hyperbole, but these people make government policies and their statements like this end up being passed into law.

It also justifies funneling more (tax) money into "women's programs".

There is a similarity to Left v. Right. Remember, the Left says, "Property is theft," and the Right says, "Taxation is theft."

Well, much of the Left says "Denying abortion = violence." Much of the the Right, and some others, will justly counter with "Abortion = violence"—to the unborn that dies from the procedure. In fact, I submit that as a voluntary procedure done solely as a convenient means of birth control on a healthy fetus, abortion is unquestionably violence. With all the forms of birth control available today, there should be no need to use the procedure in this way.

It is breathtaking to see western civilization get Orwellian in its logic.
