Ok so WH knows his shit. Go figure. I cut carbs out of my diet for like 2 weeks and I drop 8 pounds with exercise around 5 to 6 days a week.

Exercise is really the big part. I often get too wrapped up in my sleep cycle to go but I found a thermogenic and preworkout that work for me and I stead of trying to fallow these routines I read about or find online, I just pick an exercise according to what I wanna work that day and go until I'm tired.

I'm thinking work helps a bit too since the thermogenic doesn't make me shit and keeps me up during my shift pretty well. Plus I'm wearing and extra 40 to 50 lbs as indo it(body armor and such) so moving around has that much more resistance to it.

All in all I'm quite happy with how things are going. Gonna ruin it with cheat day today just because, but I imagine I'll totally drop what's left of my gut by around May, so long as I keep the carbs off to around less than 25g a day (not counting fiber in veggies and such).

Just have to keep cheat days low, maybe once or twice a month.

One thing that sucks is that the food they serve here is all processed crap, military cafeteria style garbage that gets old real fast, and the food court is lacking anything decent, and the px is too expensive for top little variety.

So yeah, military chow ain't good for ya, go figure. Just wanna remind you guys who can cook for yourself hw lucky you are, as opposed to my dumb ass. Working out isn't quite as motivating when you don't have a good meal at the end, but nobody said this would be easy. Gonna learn to love that protein powder then if I want decent protein(though apparantly top much in a day will fuck up my kidneys since the body doesn't process it like real food).

Yuda, I have sleep BS too. Sleepytime tea (yes, that's what it's called) Comatose (if they still make it, I bought a bunch so I have a supply) GABA, glutamine, ZMA.

I Mix GABA and glutamine into my night protein* and drink a sleepytime or two on an empty stomach with a serving of ZMA, mine is a 3 cap serving size). Comatose for those nights I KNOW sleep ain't happening. But you better KNOW and know in advance so you can take it early, and plan to be asleep for 10 hours without being able to be woken by anything but incoming, and then it better be 155s danger close or they aint waking you.

*casein if on a bulk and just prior to bed, it gels in the stomach and gives your body some slow digesting protein for muscle repair overnight, but doesn't help with fat loss, if anything, excess calories unused by the body will be stored as fat

hydrolyze whey if on a cut, and this well prior to bed, best case post night workout with no food intake following. Bed on empty stomach, ideally after some cardio no more than an hour after protein (NOT fasted cardio, we're cutting, not trying to lose gains)

As far as surviving the Army chow hall, it can be done. Hell, even with as much good shit as I eat nowadays and out the Army, I still get canned spinach and tuna pouches as primary daily staples. Arguably not as bad as chow hall stuff, but not as good a quality as could be gotten. Half a step above MRE.

Point is, make good (well, as good as can be made in anyplace where the food is described as "chow") decisions, you'll be good. Also, breaded fried chicken aint the worst for you. Almond flour battered organic skinless cuts fried in avocado or coconut oil are how I go now, but honestly for a bulking high energy food, it was a staple of mine from the Army chow hall.

And remember, any green veg they make is your friend, but be wary of how it's prepared. Spinach heated from a can of unsalted-in-water might be good. Spinach made fresh in a reduction may sound better until you realize it's been reduced in shitty gonna kill you oil. Forget what they use, but it damn sure aint organic avocado or coconut oil. Fuckers.

I appreciate the advice GIT, gonna take that into account for when I get off shift, assuming I don't fall asleep right after since I work nights. If I do pass the fuck out, I can just take the whey after my workout and skip a meal or two, right? It's not like I have to eat a lot, especially if I'm just chowing down protein and not pasta(fucking Italians)

Ugh.. PX supps. Save your money. Unless they have Isopure Zero Carb (pretty sure that's an isolate, not hydrolyzed, but still high quality) Optimum Nutrition, or Carnivor. Those are my go to brands for powders. Or if they ave New Whey RTD shots.

Now then I've had good results with Epiq, being a very good isolate that doesn't bug my stomach too much. I've always preferred shopping at the actual store over online for the most part, ostly because the mail sucks, but I do have a married sap I can have receive all my crap. Synephrine and yohimbine, go to powder city online. Those two are the shit. And legal

DMAA is good to use with those. FDA disapproved it. Those three used to be the main ingredients of Synedrex til the FDA fucked the company. Now Synedrex sucks, bit you get these three ingredients, you got some good shit.

Talk to me or get some good reliable info on dosing though unless you want to be awake for 87 days.

And that's just the legal to legalize stuff. PM if you want to know more about shit that isn't legal, but won't pop you hot on a piss test.

Currently feeling sick as a dog anyways, dunno why for sure but at least there's plenty of vitamin C.

I went from 164lbs to 149lbs in just 3 weeks of cutting out carbs.

I then slowly added some back in so I could get above 155lbs.

Carbs should be eaten in moderation.

Results so far are more toned, less fat(bout the same weight), more strength and endurance, current cold notwithstanding

Careful not to cut carbs too much. As far as cheat days go, I think it mainly depends on how much cardio you're doing. Just play it by ear.

He's not kidding. I forget the exact number of pounds lost, and the downside was I also looked less big than I was still actually strong, but cutting carbs cut me no less than a pound a day and I didn't lose strength, just the appearance of it.

BTW, Yuda, if you think the protein made you feel shitty, try their creatine. And if you're brave, try their gakic, lukic, creakic stack if they still have it. Provided of course your goal is to become bloated, puffy, constantly feel on the verge of committing copious liquids, and just generally feel like shit.

Muscle tech is the fat girls of the supplement world.
