Quick Beef Curry

I made this recipe for the first time last night since I'm on leave and have access to a kitchen. It's indeed very simple for and quick for a good meal. I recommend actually shredding the carrot just so it will get softer more quickly.

I'll have to play around with this some more when I get the chance. If I can make my own curry powder just right, can do wonders with it.

Japanese curry has a good flavour that I like a lot.

For added simplicity, you can get japanese curry powder that you can just add water to in order to make the gravy. It tastes real good and I usually have it with beef or chicken.

I love all kinds of curry and have made my own blends a few times. Never tried the Japanese S&B. I'll have to order some.

My favorite at the moment is Penzeys maharajah curry.

Expensive as hell for a curry powder but worth it IMHO.

When speaking with most women I find my capacity to give a damn has been overshadowed by an over abundance of go fuck yourself.

I looked into the abyss. At first I was afraid but then I looked further and studied it. After a while I began to understand the abyss. Then the abyss looked back at me, I smiled and it ran.

I also know how to make a curry rou from scratch, and of course it's way better than a quick recipe like this. if I can dig it up again I'll post that one too

The thing that's stopped me from making Indian curry from scratch is the lack of spices - such as garam masala - which can usually only be found where there's Indian expats. From a jar, Pataks is probably the best ready-made sauce.
